High School Tours
These tours are for grades 9-12 with up to 3 classes per time slot.
Tour requests for other months will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Tour times are considered upon request.
School bus reimbursement is available to schools within Salt Lake County. Click here to submit the form for reimbursement. Proof of funds spent, suchas a transportation billing report or travel receipt, will need to be uploaded to the form.

Are chaperones required?
We would love to have your chaperones enjoy the garden alongside your students! If you are bringing chaperones please help us by:
- Encouraging students to stay focused and participate in the tour by asking and answering questions!
- Helping us teach students to respect our planting beds by staying on paths and leaving flowers where they are
- Come prepared for all weather! Our tours take place rain or shine
- We want chaperones to learn alongside their students during the tour, and we would love to
- Be prepared for all types of weather
- During the tour, we invite everyone-students and adults alike-to fully engage with the learning experience. If you have questions about your own yard, our team will be happy to chat with you after the tour!
What if there is bad weather?
Our tours are rain or shine! Please come prepared for all weather conditions. If you need to cancel the tour because of weather, please give our front desk a call at 801-256-4400.
What should teachers expect?
Teachers should plan on engaging actively, encouraging student participation, and learning alongside their students! Please help us keep your class out of planting beds, prepared for the weather, and on task.

Our tours are 1.5 hours long

- Do we provide tours for homeschools? Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to provide tours to homeschool groups at this time. If you are interested in a self-guided tour of our garden with your group, check out our resources below!
- We're committed to making our garden welcoming to everyone, our paths and facilities are ADA accessible.
