Meet hundreds of plant experts, hobbyists, and more as we all gather for informative panels, seed swaps, and connect to our local community organizations. Featured speakers include Justin Davies with Range Native, Jackie Grant the Executive Director or Grand Staircase Escalante Partners, and Sarah Hinners with Red Butte Garden & Arboretum.
This event is completely free but does require registration.
Localscapes: Creating Your Ideal Holladay Yard

Are you looking for ways you can improve your landscape? Millcreek City has teamed up with Localscapes to present on how to create your ideal Utah yard.
This class will meet at Holladay City Hall at 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, UT 84117.
In this class, we'll be sharing all of the FREE resources that are available to you including: Localscapes landscape design, Conservation Garden Park and rebates available through Slow the Flow.
BOOtanical Art Class

Bubble, bubble, soil and shovel! Get into the Halloween spirit while getting creative with Neighborhood Art Center!
Join us for a magical, slightly spooky exploration of nature and art! In this Halloween-themed botanical art class, you will use real leaves, flowers, or other fall textures to make your own masterpieces!
Our featured project is a Halloween botanical oil pastel relief drawing. Arrange natural materials under paper, then use oil pastels to reveal hidden shapes and textures to incorporate into your art! Taught by Jean Richardson of Neighborhood Art Center.
All Ages Welcome, this class will meet in the Education Center at Conservation Garden Park.
Qigong and Tai Chi in the Garden

Join us outdoors for a gentle and grounding practice blending Qigong and Tai Chi. Through mindful movement, breath, and stillness, we’ll reconnect with our bodies, the earth beneath us, and the rhythm of nature all around. This class is open to all levels and welcomes curiosity, presence, and ease.

Birds & Botanicals Collage Workshop

Participants are encouraged to take inspiration directly from the garden and use paper/illustrations to design and assemble a personalized work of art while learning creative composition and collage techniques. This workshop will focus specifically on birds! All experience levels are welcome.
This class is for anyone aged 14 years old and up!

Halloween at CGP

Halloween at Conservation Garden Park reaches its peak with our one-night-only Halloween Festival!
Come enjoy the garden like never before at this dusk to dark Halloween event! On Friday, October 23, 5–8 PM, dress up and trick-or-treat your way through enchanting decorations, vote on community-carved pumpkins, and cheer on the dog costume contest. Plus, enjoy other family-friendly activities. Free tickets are required—don’t miss the magic of nightfall!

Contest Details:
Dog Costume Contest Rules: The Dog Costume Contest takes center stage on Oct 23! Dress up your pup, join the fun, and pose for an instant photo (Polaroid-style) to enter. Guests will vote for their favorites, and winners will be announced online.
Pumpkin Carving Rules: Pick up a free pumpkin (Oct 12–17), pumpkins are first-come-first-served, carve or paint it at home, and return it by Oct 22 to be entered into the contest.

During this time come dressed up and explore a garden full of magic! Spot eerie plants in the Spooky Plant Hunt, play Ghostly Garden Bingo, enjoy story time, and discover festive decorations. Along the way, you’ll discover how even skeletons know the magic of saving water—all in a family-friendly, free adventure!
