Muscadet Oriental Lily

Lilium 'Muscadet'

Plant Details:

Plant Type: Bulb
Plant Family: Liliaceae
Plant Description: Oriental Lilies, hybrids of the Korean L. speciosum and the Japanese L. auratum, are some of the most beautiful of all lilies, with huge, wonderfully fragrant flowers with longer and later bloom times. They are timeless, high-reward plants that are loved by florists. ‘Muscadet’ has large, pink-flushed white flowers accented with berry-pink midveins and speckles. The cheery color is well-suited to many design styles.

Maintenance:

Maintenance Type: Perennial - Herbaceous
Plant Care: Perennial - Herbaceous (soft-stemmed plants that die back in winter and regrow in spring): Remove spent blooms to promote rebloom later. Some plants tend to flop over after the first bloom and attempt to regrow from the base; in these cases, the old stems can be cut away in summer. As plants become dormant in the fall, remove dead leaves and stems.
