Flip Your Strip
Thursday, September 03 2026 from 6:00PM - 7:30PM
In-Person Class
Learn the best techniques to add curb appeal and save water by removing non-functional lawn and beautifying your landscape.
Tired of fighting to keep grass alive in your park strip? Lawns in these narrow spaces waste water and rarely thrive. In this class you'll learn how to "flip your strip" by replacing thirsty grass with beautiful, waterwise plants, efficient irrigation, and mulch.
Taught by Conservation Garden Park staff.
This class will meet in the Education Center and Conservation Garden Park.
Registration is required for admittance to this class.
Planning a bigger project like a full yard or front/backyard project? We recommend pairing this class with the Localscapes class series.
