Mindfulness in the Garden: A Forest Bathing Experience

Saturday, May 23 2026 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Workshop

Unlike a hike or fitness walk, forest bathing is a slow, mindful experience that invites you to relax, awaken your senses, and simply be in the garden.

During this guided session, you'll learn gentle techniques for slowing down, noticing details, and tuning into the sights, sounds, textures, and fragrances around you. There is no destination and no rush! Only an opportunity to breathe deeply, unwind, and find clarity in the beauty of the garden.

As you move through Conservation Garden Park, you'll also experience firsthand how waterwise landscapes can nurture both our environment and out community. Whether you are hoping to unwind, reconnect with yourself, or discover a new way to enjoy the garden, this restorative practice offers a refreshing pause and meaningful connection to the ecosystems around you.

All classes will be hosted outside and meet in the Education Center at Conservation Garden Park. Come dressed prepared for the weather. In the event of extreme weather, the class will be moved indoors to our classroom space.

Hosted by Rachel Hodge with Suni-ai Forest Bathing.
